Adam Tavel
in awe of a building
Autism man
stands in front of a revolving door,
watches the bodies flow out.
Street traffic shoves for efficiency. His mouth is gaped, trout-like,
fingers drum upon his thighs.
An Asian woman trips,
slams into his side like a billiard ball.He doesn't blink.
A schoolboy yells RETARD
loud enough to echo
through the city's veins.
