XCP: Streetnotes is a freely accessible digital archive of stories, poetry, interviews, and ethnographic documentation.  Exhibitions of XCP: Streetnotes are published on the internet biannually (since 1998). Past exhibits are saved and made accessible.

We envision a populist ethnography that contains traditional, contemporary, and experimental narratives. We hope to encourage a flourishing in the art of social description.

The documents you send will revert to your copyright when they are made public on the internet, and they will be preserved by the Cross Cultural Poetics Website, a not-for-profit educational institution. Please see http://bfn.org/~xcp to view past exhibits and learn more detail.

Xcp: Streetnotes is part of the Xcp: Cross Cultural Poetics Website.
We are hosted by the Buffalo Freenet, a not-for-profit, community based information service.
